Privacy Policy

The Gator is a private social-confidence training app. We do not sell personal data, serve advertising, or use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Information we collect

• Account identifiers and, when shared through Sign in with Apple, an email address.
• Profile, onboarding, preferences, challenge progress, XP, streak, and mission activity.
• Purchase and entitlement status from Apple and RevenueCat; never payment card details.
• Text, voice audio, and transcripts you provide during AI practice sessions.
• App interactions, app version, operating system, device model, locale, and diagnostics.
• Feedback votes and conversation safety reports you choose to submit.

How we use information

We use this information to provide personalized lessons and AI practice, maintain progress, process purchases, improve reliability, prevent abuse, answer support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use practice content for advertising.

Service providers

Data is processed only as needed by Apple and APNs, Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, and Vercel. These providers support authentication, storage, AI conversation, purchases, notifications, and hosting. Their processing is governed by their contracts and privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Conversation transcripts are retained for up to 30 days unless a shorter period is required for safety or deletion. Account and progress records remain while your account is active. Aggregated analytics may be retained after account deletion only after account and installation links are removed. You can permanently delete your account in Settings → Delete account.

Your choices

You may use guest access, deny microphone or notification permission, manage subscriptions through Apple, request support, or delete your account. Account deletion does not cancel an active App Store subscription; manage it separately in your Apple Account settings.

Age suitability

The Gator is rated for users aged 16 and older and is not directed to children.
